@mike Part 2 podcasts on TAATR sounds great, and (surprisingly?) great marketing and growth channel for Active to Core audiences. Brilliant!
Mystical experience, the shadow self, Jungian psychology
I feel a little weird posting this, but I had a pretty vivid dream experience the other night, and I'm curious if anyone has suggestions regarding where I might go with it. The experience had that rich impenetrability of a zen Koan. I think I met my anima in a dream--the jungian anima. I'm not one to have regular mystical experience, and I don't think it's anything supernatural, but it definitely left a lasting impression. Thoughts?
Noelle Stevenson, coming out, deconstruction
I thought this might be helpful. Also Noelle Stevenson seems really wonderful.
Adding here, it's not Jussie that has be the most distraught. It's leaders in this progressive, feminist, Christian space who have stood with an abuser because of five details the public will probably never know, and they aren't held accountable to what I feel I'm learning in this space, and no one is taking about it, so it makes me wonder if there's some secret space where it's still ok to ignore the victim. If so, that upsets me deeply. I know what I believe, but it's confusing.
So I want to try a roast in a red wine reduction. I’ve been hunting for good recipes and techniques and thought I might ask the community here if anyone has knowledge to share. Do any of you have any killer recipes? I’m trying to nail the savory beef flavor, and I’m going to start with a sear and end with a braise. What happens in the middle is still up in the air. 🥳
A Pixar SparkShorts on the subject of toxic masculinity. It's worth your time.
Last night I went to a workshop on dismantling toxic masculinity. While I adored the conversations and topics it covered, it also saddened me that many of the men in my life that want to engage with the topic don't have an open space outside of one-on-one conversations where they can talk about the impacts it has had on their life and how to navigate it. So this is me opening the conversation on here in hopes of bringing united voice, restoration, and space to those of you that need it most. 💛
During job training covering data security, one of my modules was on the EU’s new data privacy law: the General Data Protection Regulation, or GDPR (big international medical company, data security is a big thing for us).
If you’re an EU citizen, and haven’t really looked into it, you have an amazing ability to control your data already out in the world, and you should check into it. I feel like at least some of us came here because of data security.
US brothers and sisters, we’re still fucked
