Hi Liturgists, I am doubling down on well being in the month of October and would love to share, and receive, some book requests.

Here are mine:

- Why we sleep by Matthew Walker (@mike, this has a great chapter on narcolepsy) This book changed my life!

- The Telomere Effect by Dr Elizabeth Black Burn, good to understand the mechanisms of cellular aging and it has some awesome evidence for meditations effect on the body.

- anything by Brene Brown!

Tell me your list!

@Joy_concepcion @mike Awareness, by Anthony de Mello. I'm gonna check out "why we sleep" sounds cool thanks

@Joy_concepcion @mike Mike hope you keep healing up and taking a much needed rest. Thanks for the rec of the book Exhalation!

I've been listening to the audio version of The Body Keeps the Score. It's a heavy read but so enlightening (both of my own experience and of my family's).

I am also re-reading for the third time, The Historian. Great modern "sequel" to Dracula. Not cheesy (*cough* Twilight *cough*), impeccably researched, and delightfully scary.

I read The Alchemist about a year ago, and I loved it. I second the recommendation!
