@Laura_I Looking for a literal biological definition for transness, autism, gayness, etc has always reminded me of people trying to do the same shit for race. We don't need to make that mistake again.
They could say there's nothing different about us. But it wouldn't change the fact that we exist and that we're here.
Looking for a biological cause of things like transness or autism leads really quickly into "cures" and eugenics, and I'd rather we just avoid that path all together
For real y'all, I don't need people to respect my identity because science proves trans or Autistic people exist or something.
I don't want a world where some professional gets to scan my brain or test my hormones and decide if I'm truly Autistic or trans.
I get that sometimes people want to prove that the thing they're experiencing is "real" in some way, but it's harmful to look to the scientific establishment for confirmation of what is real.
asking for help to move, (update 1/2)
Okay so plan is no longer early August, but September 13. I need almost $300 for the application fee, security deposit, and pet deposit altogether. And then like $400 for first months rent, pet rent, and utilities etc. Which is doable, if a teeny bit daunting since I have had more than $400 to my name since like 16 months ago. This isn’t urgent, but I’d appreciate any help I can get with this since my parents will argue with me about...
Also now that I'm processing this, the girl definitely asked him "Where are your shoes?" And he said, "the car" 👀
So that's interesting lol
@furkachi Judaism and Islam have far more in common than Judaism and Christianity. Whatever similarities they had 2000 years ago when Christianity was a heretical sect of Judaism has been lost after two thousand years of diverging experiences. Christianity became the state religion of the very empire Yeshua ben Yosef shel Natzrat sought to overthrow, and was weaponized to oppress the very nation he sought to liberate.
Could goyim fucking please stop saying Y*hw*h to refer to the Jewish G-d it's extremely disrespectful and comes from atheists smugly being all "oh yeah obviously Y-H-V-H is pronounced this way and the Jews are so stupid acting like they don't know how to pronounce it" when like it's just not a word you're ever even supposed to say and nobody says it. It's not what we call our G-d.

kamala harris, us politics
lmao @ kamala's ""student loan debt forgiveness"" idea
she wants to "establish a student loan debt forgiveness program for Pell Grant recipients who start a business that operates for three years in disadvantaged communities."
the qualifiers are INCREDIBLE, just, incredible stuff. powerful. im in awe.
An Insta caption that is *the worst thing*, exoticizing, slur for Romani people
On pictures of someone I know, during her trip to Spain. Apparently she's also promoting a shoe brand or something:
"Wanderlust consumed her. Foreign hearts and exotic minds compelled her. She had a gypsy soul and a vibrant hope for the unknown."

Also btw might not abide by these responses lol. Sometimes asking for other people's input helps me realize I don't like the option they chose haha
