I can't believe I captured this image. It looks like something straight out of a travel brochure.

Really, the credit goes to Silver Falls State Park though—one of the most beautiful places I've visited yet in Oregon. I can't wait to go back in the spring when the volume of water going over the falls will no doubt be much greater!

@mike I've had your media literacy rap stuck in my head today. Thanks for care for all of us enough to rap for us.

Officially the only social media platform that has one of my wedding pictures on it.

Some things you will remember
Some things stay sweet forever

But the stars shine down on all God's children
And the sun sets on the good on the evil
And I know you
And I know you

Well you had me several years ago
When i was still quite naive
And you said that we made such a pretty pair
And that you would never leave
But you gave away the things you loved
And one of them was me
I had some dreams there were clouds in my coffee
Clouds in my coffee, yeah

Liturgist fam-I need help finding a children’s book or 5 that feature interracial parents/families! Particularly if the mother is white and the father is black. The book(s) doesn’t have to be about interracial families necessarily, just looking for illustrations that depict such a family. Thanks in advance!

Has anyone else noticed that in many of Jesus' parables where there would be an Evangelical expectation of a call to faith there is instead a call to right living and they are way more inclusive than expected?

Also, I'm beginning to think that a proper hermeneutic on the parables is a "wide path" and "narrow way" perspective.

@faithingproject one of the most interesting things I’m trying to learn in my life is squaring the true self egoless Christ redeemed way, with activism for the marginalized. When I do try to stick up for people, too often I deny the multitudes in the people that I’m “speaking truth” to. Jesus speaking in parables makes me think that too often I’m just being an asshole and that I have a lot more to learn.

In the morning you come my way
Your skin is pink, the sky is gray
There's fresh cranberries in your mouth
With thick red water dripping out
You expect me to believe everything you say
Well, okay
