Hello all! Any fellow agnostics out there?

@akaylal93 i guess some days when I’m more generous than others

@akaylal93 Welcome to the collective! I’m pretty agnostics about everything at this point but my beliefs vacillates so yeah πŸ˜‚πŸ–€βœŒπŸ½β€οΈ

@akaylal93 I'm not sure what to call myself. Maybe that fits today.

@akaylal93 I’m pretty much agnostic just in general? If that makes sense πŸ˜‚ Essentially I linger in the unknowing and the mystery.

@akaylal93 πŸ™‹β€β™€οΈI'm also Methodist but openly agnostic? Weirdo here.

@akaylal93 I might be an agnostic, hard to know for sure

(In all seriousness I am extremely agnostic)

@akaylal93 Yep, definitely. I'm a definite agnostic (lol). I was a cultural Christian, then an atheist, and now I've moved to agnosticism. I think there's something there... I just can't pin down what it is. And I've learned to be okay with that. It's pretty beautiful, actually.

@akaylal93 Following a literal definition of agnostic I think I’m one as well. I don’t believe we can know what the underlying spiritual truth is, but I have faith in the best guess I’ve been passed down.

@akaylal93 I feel like everyone is kind of agnostic subconsciously anyways. We just fool ourselves to think we know the truth.

Hey there! Exvangelist, agnostic with a strong skepticism here. I'm on the healing side of - welcome!

@akaylal93 is a shoulder shrug the appropriate answer?

(Yes, by the way)

@akaylal93 Yup! Also, I love that you asked this question so I can go through and follow everyone who comments on this post. πŸ˜‚ Living in "the Bible Belt of the North" (aka West MI), it's nice to know how many agnostics are out there and makes it feel less lonely.

I tend to work off the assumption that certainty is a weird Western, modern phenomenon, so, by that logic, yes? :)

@akaylal93 some days I think...”I think I’m the religious version of agnostic”

@akaylal93 i guess agnostic is the best term to define my beliefs right now πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ πŸ˜‚

@akaylal93 I think so. I think certainty and arrogance have done a lot of damage. I want to stay curious, you know?

I think I'm a philosophical Panentheist, but a practical Agnostic. πŸ€”

@ed @akaylal93 πŸ™Œ

Yeah! Was waiting for first mention on ! cheers!

I currently committed to being deeply agnostic after several years of identifying as an athiest. My agnosticism is rooted in the knowledge that my understanding is fallible. I am currently experimenting with faith practices in order to see if the practices of faith change my mind.

@akaylal93 Some days agnostic, some days just emotionally exhausted, and some days quite lazy.

@akaylal93 I heard someone use the term "hopeful agnostic" in one of the fb liturgist groups and I really like descriptor, so I'm borrowing it for myself :)
