I don't ever post stuff like this but this organization means so much to me and I want to support them however I can. They are welcoming to all people and truly live out the idea of making space at the table. Even as a staff member I always felt valued and included in the process. I've never been a part of a community as instantly warm and welcoming as they are, and not in a surface level way. They really truly mean it. We need more places like it in this world.
hey folks, I thought I'd reach out here and see if anyone would be willing to help an Autism agency in my community by donating for their summer program. It's a program that I've worked at and with for a few years now and I've never known more loving and inclusive people who are doing the work every single day to help teenagers with Autism find a community& build relationships. They need help to keep their most vital program going this summer. Link here: https://bit.ly/2xnhai5
I drove over to my brother and sister in law's house tonight and we had a drink and toasted in Rachel's honor. We sat together on the floor and talked about the ways her work affected us. About how unfair this is. About how we can take care of each other better. Even when she is gone, Rachel is still bringing people together.
I'm not an enneagram 9 but I have never felt more seen than when @mike talked about loving The Rock movies. its the same reason I exclusively watched thor ragnarok almost every day last summer. gotta love no stakes entertainment 👍
