Notre Dame, glass half empty
Look at the wealthy people, companies, countries of the world open up their wallets now. *After* this neglected building has been burnt to a crisp.
This whole stupid episode is a metaphor for austerity. It’s a metaphor for climate change. The rich will write checques after they neglect stuff to the point of destruction, after people are dead and species are extinct, and they’ll be played up as generous heroes.
@vishnu with your experiences in float, have you introduced music, soundscapes or guided meditations into that zone? is the silence a welcome friend with the perfect listening ear?
"One day as I was about to step on a dry leaf, I saw the leaf in the ultimate dimension. I saw that it was not really dead, but that it was merging with the moist soil in order to appear on the tree the following spring in another form. I smiled at the leaf and said, “You are pretending.” Everything is pretending to be born and pretending to die, including that leaf."

Emerging from my mind palace to give this update

Most likely not. A lesson in taking more time to turnover and look underneath and appreciate the endings.

Our modern world has forgotten a lot. Let's remember.

Christ as “the Way” vs. Pantheism
@roberttheiv @emkem The more I start to read Christ's words in the context of the religious/political situation when he spoke them, the more I see I find myself saying "Damn, he just BROUGHT it." And then it suddenly seems all the more relevant to what we're facing today, with the gatekeepers of orthodox Christianity insisting on their understanding being the only way. I can imagine Jesus shaking his head and saying, "We've been down this road before..."
