So, I interviewed @vishnu on #AskScienceMike this week. That’s a first. https://asksciencemike.podbean.com/e/episode-174-this-with-michael-gungor/
We’ve got a new episode of #TheLiturgists Podcast today. It’s called “Fear | Live in Nashville,” and I think it’s one of the most powerful shows that we’ve ever done.
You know @audreyassad is a good friend to me because we are both “message in a bottle” style communicators. We’ll toss a message across text or whatever, and just wait for something to float back.
In an age where eveything is measured, tracked, analyzed, and reported in real time, I have to tell you I love how little data I can see about user activity as an admin on a Mastodon instance.
It’s pretty much impossible to collect data here, and this platform is almost worthless from a corporate commincations perspective.
5 stars. I love it.
Today’s #AskScienceMike episode was the second highest first day downloads of all time (behind the Ask the Honey Badger one a couple of weeks ago). Despite taking a break, and then having an erratic schedule, I’m pleased to see people still listen. 🙂
It’s odd though that on such a good day, the iTunes rankings for the show actually got MUCH WORSE. I’ve seen that happen a lot with #TheLiturgists too. We’ll drop a really successful episode and see our iTunes rankins fall.
Facebook is a terrible company.
I want to delete my account so much, but my damn blue check makes it hard for someone to peronsonate me over in that hell hole of a trash fire. https://www.fastcompany.com/90314763/now-facebook-is-allowing-anyone-to-look-you-up-using-your-security-phone-number
Promoting my podcast.
There’s a new #AskSciecneMike, and I had a TON of fun recording it. I’m happier than I’ve been in some time. https://asksciencemike.podbean.com/e/episode-173-depression-a-loving-god-and-jesus-vs-mithra/
Sometimes I log in here and panic—I don’t have many mentions, and worry that the instance isn’t active. But, then I look at the Local timeline, and see lots of people having wonderful conversations.
I’m very excited to have a social platform for The Liturgists that is centered on the people, and not the podcast hosts.
This is an instance for folks who follow The Liturgists Podcast, The Alien & The Robot, and other things The Liturgists create.
