I legitimately struggle with almost every “I’m not a robot” test online.

1/ As one of the (lol), I can’t recommend Sharon Salzberg highly enough for anyone who wants to dig deeper into Buddhism. I’ve seen her many times. She’s great for beginners because she makes the concepts and practices extremely accessible. There are lots of videos on YouTube, she has a podcast called “the Metta Hour,” and she’s written a lot of books. Her book “Faith” is one of my favorites and one I’ve heard her recommend often to people.

Listening to the final cut of our podcast coming out this Thursday. Wow, I say “In a very real way,” a lot when I’m on stage.

Every time I see this liturgist photo on patreon I think of Mike Wazowski. 😂

I need to turn off auto play on my Liturgists RSS feed. I finished Hillary’s amazing Traveling Light meditation in a state of deep relaxation and was immediately jolted by the “in the year 2013” from the most recent Alien and the Robot. 😂😵

You know @audreyassad is a good friend to me because we are both “message in a bottle” style communicators. We’ll toss a message across text or whatever, and just wait for something to float back.

In an age where eveything is measured, tracked, analyzed, and reported in real time, I have to tell you I love how little data I can see about user activity as an admin on a Mastodon instance.

It’s pretty much impossible to collect data here, and this platform is almost worthless from a corporate commincations perspective.

5 stars. I love it.

Facebook is a terrible company.

Promoting my podcast.

I spend approximately zero seconds hesitating before silencing or suspending people who harrass accounts on this instance.

Sometimes I log in here and panic—I don’t have many mentions, and worry that the instance isn’t active. But, then I look at the Local timeline, and see lots of people having wonderful conversations.

I’m very excited to have a social platform for The Liturgists that is centered on the people, and not the podcast hosts.

Who’s thinking of going to the @mike @vishnu shindig in Boulder? I’d love to meet some of you in person!

In these moments, the aggregate outrage felt cathartic.
