Today a thousand years
Of strained affection and prayer
"Out beyond ideas of right and wrong is a field"
Will I meet you there?
Will I meet you there?
The summer garden blooms
With autumn soon replaced
Another harvest moon
So many ways to lose
So many faiths

You can beleive whatever you want to believe about the morality of various sexual orientations and gender identies. On social.theliturgists.com, honest questions are always welcome (assuming they are behind a content warning).
Telling people you don’t approve of their orientation or gender identity is not allowed. Full stop. This is an affirming environment.
This include telling people “the Bible” or “God” doesn’t approve of them.

Video post about suicidality.
I recently gave a talk about my experiences with suicidality and what research tells us about the cognitive and emotional factors behind suicide.
I'm posting it because I think there are better ways to talk about suicide, and more we can do to help people struggling with a desire to end their own lives.

I want to setup a Friendica instance to test as a Facebook-like private groups option for our community. I have the knowledge to do this, but not the time.
Is anyone interested in setting this up? I'd sign up for and provision a VPS server with a hosting provider, and you'd take it from there.

@JeanetteJohnson @teeny @JeanetteJohnson @teeny Rather than be too prescriptive I thought that we could just start reading the book on Monday and just chat about it as we go. In last week I imagine there will be some summary discussions. As there won’t be plot points to reveal I don’t spoilers will be a problem. If we find that more structure is required changes can be made for the next book.
